A few years ago the Portable Speaker Boom started and Creative knows that end consumers are looking for the perfect partner for their trips or jobs. A few weeks ago, it launched the Creative Muvo Mini with Bluetooth connectivity, NFC, IP66 certification and available in four colors (Black, red, white and blue).

Creative Muvo Mini

Creative presents the Muvo Mini in a very compact white box. On the cover we see the IP66 logo that protects the sound system against water. In the back we have all the features and benefits of this speaker. The bundle is made up of:

The speaker has a really good brushed aluminum design, just touch it we see that the product is of premium quality. It has a size of 19 x 37 x 59 cm and a weight of 304 grams, which makes it a totally portable system to carry it in your bag in our everyday bag.

One of the functions that strikes me the most is that if we have our smarpthone connected we can use it as a speaker. Thanks to its integrated microphone it allows us to capture our voice.

In the rear area we have nothing to highlight, except the stops to avoid vibrations on the surface that we support the Creative Muvo Mini.

Under the plastic of the front we have two high-end and complete microdrivers, which offers us a high and clear stereo reproduction that accompanied by the Bass Radiator gives very interesting high bass.

On the back we must highlight the protective rubber that saves connections from dust or water. We have an auxiliary audio input of 3.5 that allows us to connect other analog audio devices and a micro USB to charge the battery.

I was not going to forget its great progress with the incorporation of IP66 protection. What does it consist of? Protects our speaker against solid particles in 6 levels: No dust entry; complete protection against contact. While the protection against the ingress of liquids allows water sprayed with high power (12.5 mm nozzle) against the casing, from any direction, has no detrimental effect.

Connectivity

There are three ways to connect the speaker to our smartphone. The first is via Bluetooth 4.0 with the system: A2DP ( Wireless Stereo Bluetooth ), AVRCP ( Bluetooth Remote Control), HFP (Hands-Free Profile). The second is NFC technology and the third through an auxiliary connection , the microUSB allows us to recharge the battery. Without forgetting that the Creative Muvo Mini has supported the SBC codecs that will give us a very interesting experience.

The Creative Muvo Mini is a wireless speaker with a compact design that wastes quality as soon as you touch it. The impressive sound quality is not far behind either. Its size is ideal to take with us on a trip, to a party or a timba.

One of its strong points is the great possibility that allows us to connect it with our gadgets via Bluetooth 4.0, NFC or the auxiliary input. I have personally loved that Creative chooses to use IP66 technology that will help protect our sound system from dust and allow it to be used on the beach or pool without fear of being splashed by water.

Currently there are four color ranges available: black, blue, white and red. Its price is approximately € 44 in online store, and given that the competition has neither its design nor its sound quality, it seems to us a really good price.
