Gigabyte Aivia Uranium in detail

As in the entire Aivia series that we have dealt with in recent months, they have a sublime and stylish cover. We see the image of the Mouse and its dock with display. At the rear we have all the most important specifications.

Where the mouse is housed is a hard cardboard box. Full of foam and hard plastic protections. It really is impossible for the mouse to be damaged. Only if a truck goes over it?

Detail of the "pijadita": Uranium from the periodic table (element 92) hehe.

The kit is made up of:

  • Gigabyte Uranium Wireless Mouse.Dock with display: GHOST Macro Station. Rechargeable batteries. Instruction manuals, stickers and replacement surfers.

The Gigabyte Uranium has a unique texture of soft rubber plastic, very pleasant to the touch and with a very ergonomic design. Once we grab the mouse we feel that it is designed for large hands (130 x 78 x 70 mm) dimensions and for right-handed people. For small hands, it can be a little big… although everything is getting used to.

The wheel allows us to move in up to four directions (normally there are two) and it also offers us the possibility of taking control in 8 directions from the dock screen.

The mouse comes armed with 10 programmable buttons that allow us to create macros ideal for games. A luxury within the reach of very few gamers. In addition to a hot PPP resolution switch, what does that mean? It allows us to adjust the mouse speed in 4 phases: 800/1600/3200 and 5600 DPI (with software it reaches 6500 DPI).

At the top of the mouse we have the largest buttons. Just to the left we have two buttons G1 and G2.

Side buttons for web browsing.

In the previous part of the mouse we have to highlight several points:

  • The first is the incorporation of a double vision laser sensor (the best in its category). Having an outstandingly accurate tracking and low consumption.

  • It has a removable cover that allows us to insert the two rechargeable batteries (included). Also a button to synchronize with the GHOST Macro Station dock.

Already from the front stand out its MINI-USB connection for recharging and wired connection without loss of latencies.

The most classic mouse accessories.

Two rechargeable batteries, instruction manual, etc…

Here we see game card and surfers of spare parts.

GHOST Macro Station in detail

The Macro Station is a control station equipped with a display that allows us to view mouse status functions. We have two display options:

Dynamic: It is updated immediately, launching the PPP values, game profiles, battery charge level and reporting frequency.

Direct Editing Mode: It allows us to adjust the DPI values and select / edit the desired profiles.

Side views:

The mini-USB cable that allows us to charge the mouse or make it wired.

Software: AIVIA Ghost

As always, Gigabyte invites us to download the drivers from its website. Installation is very simple: everything follows.

The program that is installed is AIVIA Ghost. With it we can configure all the peripherals of that model. In our case we have the Aivia Uranium mouse and the Osmium keyboard. Detection is on-site and without any problems.

In this screen we have the configuration of the mouse wheel and some of its buttons.

WE RECOMMEND YOU New details on the Gigabyte X399 Designare EX motherboard

It allows us to configure the click style.

We have the possibility to assign shortcut keys with special macros.

Mouse setting is maximum: Profiles management, sensitivity, wheel settings, HZ frequency, screen saver, cooldown timer and association.

On this screen it allows us to configure the DPI of the four available profiles.

Also associate a logo as a screensaver. By default, it comes with the Gigabyte corporate gamer logo.

And finally we leave you more screenshots of how complete this software is: memory release, cooling timer and association with your computer.

Final words and conclusion

The Gigabyte Aivia Uranium is a wireless gaming mouse with a dockstation base with display called: GHOST Macro Station. Its name comes from the Uranium element of the periodic table. It has a very soft silver gray plastic design, makes it a very ergonomic mouse for right-handed users with large hands and reaches the speed of 6500 DPI.

How is it different from the rest? It has a state-of-the-art dual vision sensor, four-way scroll wheel, 10 programmable buttons via software and the fabulous Ghost Macro Station.

The Ghost Macro Station is a control center that allows us to monitor, edit and program the mouse while it is hot, while we are playing or working. In other words, an ideal complement for any user.

Our gaming experience has been fabulous. I have never felt so comfortable with a mouse. Lightweight, incredible touch and a thousand functions to make my rivals dizzy. It is ideal for role-playing games, strategy, shooting…

The Aivia GHOS Software is very complete since it allows us to edit any mouse option. During the analysis we have verified that it has everything and is very intuitive.

In short, if you are looking for a TOP mouse on the market, wireless, that does not fail and above all that you enjoy playing with it. Aivia Uranium is your option. Price in online store ranges from € 82.
