All SSDs are built using the LSI SandForce SF-2281 driver, although there is no specific word on what NAND flash is used for. The 2.5 SSDs also have a SATA3 interface.
SSDs with capacities ranging from 60GB to 240GB with 84, 000 random read IOPS and 64, 000 write IOPS, except for the 24GB version, which has 52, 000 random write IOPS. The 480GB version offers 73, 000 random read IOPS and 32, 000 random write IOPS. All drives are said to have sequential read speeds of up to 525 MB / s and sequential writes of up to 500 MB / s.

The traditional packaging on the manufacturer's SSD drives shows the disk and has a lot of color.
Inside we see that the accessories are very complete.
Bundle content:
- 2.5 to 3.25 bay adapter Sata Power Cable Data Cable Sata Casing for 2.5 disks. It could be used to leave our old laptop disk in it by putting the Installation SSDCD with a guide and software for cloning our disk
Images of the disc itself. Screenprinted with the usual colors and Kingston logo, in which we can see at a glance, the capacity of the disc, in this case 120GB.

We wanted to analyze the disk against a Samsung 840, to see if the manufacturer's data of 525 MB / s read and 500 MB / s write is correct.
For this we have used some of the best known programs to test our disks, the As SSd Benchmark, the Atto disk benchmark and the CrystalDiskMark
SAMSUNG 840 AS SSD BENCHMARK
ATTO
CRYSTALDISKMARK
And here we have our protagonist of the day.
KINGSTON KC300 AS SSD BENCHMARK
ATTO
CRYSTALDISKMARK
In the first Bench, we can see that either the bench does not yet recognize the disk well, or does not get along very well with our unit. However in the ATTO, if we can see how both units give the reading and writing given by the manufacturer.
WE RECOMMEND YOU The price of SSDs will rise 38% until 2018Noting that the Kingston gets a huge performance difference from the Samsung.
At the Crystaldisk, we again observe irregular readings.
The Kingston SSDNoW KC300 are designed to help businesses, mobile users and extend the life and significantly improve the performance of your PC or laptop with higher speeds, greater stability and reliability. The KC300 provides greater energy efficiency than the traditional hard drive, allowing users to continue working longer without having to recharge the battery.
The new LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller, unleashes higher speeds in reading and writing, which will be very liked by its users.
The SSDs will be available in two versions: one with only the SSD, and an improved version that comes with a series of accessories, like the one we have analyzed on this occasion.
ADVANTAGE |
DISADVANTAGES |
+ INSTALLATION ON TABLE OR PORTABLE PC´S | - STILL HIGH PRICES IN COMPARISON TO MECHANICAL DISCS. |
+ BATTERY LIFE ON PORTATILES | |
+ PERFORMANCE | |
+ VERY COMPLETE BUNDLE | |
+ 3 YEARS WARRANTY. |
