Tests

The synthetic tests have been carried out with and without Overclock in the Gpu's. To get an idea of the performance with this "extra", which the cards provide us.

The GTX 780 have gone to 993 with the OC boost and 1189.

The GTX Titan @ 993 boost and 1200 OC core. Memories have not been uploaded in any of them.

Now perhaps we come to the most interesting part of the entire analysis, since these cards are oriented to this segment, they have not been tested at less resolution because we understand that such a configuration is indicated for high resolutions. Given that the performance in the "standard" resolution, 1920 x 1080p, is more than enough.

Conclusions

On this occasion we have had in our hands a truly "round" product. With all the characteristics of its older sister, without reaching its prohibitive price.

The performance of the card is really good. It maintains the constants of Titan, that softness and solidity that we discussed about it in your article. In most games we will play with all the details on high, and at high resolutions. It does not reach the level of titan, but it comes very close.

Temperatures remain the weak point of high-end cards. With so much potential they quickly reach those 80º in which the card begins to stagger its performance so as not to endanger it. Of course, with a good fan profile with solutions such as the MSI Afterburner, we will prevent that from happening. Problem that is also solved when using rl in them, frankly more than advisable in these cards.

The tarejta is quite silent, left in car, if we stop to think that it is dissipating 250w. For those who like a lower temperature, they will have to use programs with fan profiles, at that moment it is no longer silent, but everything cannot be had.

We can not miss the detail of the price, although it is not a "cheap" card, for everything it offers, and seeing the premium price of the GTX Titan, it seems to us a price according to its performance. Although we do not share the idea of the prices that Nvidia is marking lately in its top. It seems that they are not aware of the global situation we are in.
