Raijintek, leader in the air cooling of processors and graphics cards, is reaching very strong consumers and large hardware distributors nationwide, and it is no wonder.

Today we want to present you the first “high end” double tower heatsink from this excellent manufacturer. It is the Raijintek Tisis that incorporates two fans: maximum performance of 140 mm and a total weight of more than 1kg. Do you want to see our tests with an Intel Haswell i7-4770K at 4600 mhz ? Go on with your reading.

Raijintek Tisis unboxing in detail

Raijintek presents its Raijintek Nemesis heatsink in a compact, medium-sized box with its corporate colors: red and black. The presentation is sublime, as they have used high quality images for their flagship heatsink. On all sides of the case, we have technical characteristics, specifications and images about the heatsink.

Once we open the box, we see that it is perfectly packaged with cardboard and with protections designed so that it arrives in perfect condition at our home.

The bundle is very complete and includes many accessories:

  • Heatsink Raijintek Tisis. Two red 140 mm fans. Instruction manual. Universal mounting accessories. Adapters for socket Intel and AMD. Instruction manual.

The instruction manual comes in many languages, including Spanish. Later I will explain how the installation is carried out.

Before I start detailing the heatsink features, I want to introduce you to both fans. They are the AG14025MLSPA model with 0.25v amperage and 12V operation. They are PWM, that is, they can be auto-regulated automatically from the motherboard, without the need for rehobus. Good Raijintek detail!

They have atypical dimensions of 140 mm: 140x150x25 mm, start at 10V and have a maximum speed of 1000 RPM. Regarding their performance we can say that they are very good, since they have an air flow of 70.2 CFM and a loudness of up to 23 dBA. Being a high-end heatsink, it incorporates two fans that will dramatically lower the temperatures of our processor.

The first impression that I get when I see the Raijintek Tisis is that it is a monstrous heatsink, that it is built with quality components and that the engineers have done a great job. Its measurements are 140x130x166.5 mm (without fans) and a weight of 1050 grams. If we install the two fans it goes up to 1340 grams ! One of the most bestial heatsinks we've touched in many years. Three versions are available: normal, nickel plated and gold plated.

The heatsink has a design of two asymmetric towers each composed of 5 copper heatpipes with 8 mm diameter (I still like the aesthetics). As we can in the following image we are limited to its fans, since it does not include the classic anchor. It consists of a total of 43 fins with a thickness of 0.4 mm and 2.0 mm distance between them.

The Tisis is built entirely with nickel-plated copper. We also have to realize that the tower on the right is closed. Why? The fins are closed so as to increase a greater air flow, and thus lower enough degrees quickly.

The base is nickel-plated copper and its mirror effect is excellent. We have a protective sticker to prevent cracks or scratches during transport.

Detail of the heatpipes that measures 4 x 4.2 cm and its finish is a visual delight.

Raijintek Tisis Accessories, mounting and socket installation LGA 1150.

Among its accessories we find the anchors for the socket, fixing the heatsink to the anchor, single-dose thermal paste and the adapters for Intel and AMD.

Here we already see the screws. We start with the installation!

The first step is to install the backplate from the back of the motherboard. This is compatible for both Intel and AMD socket. Compatible list:

  • Intel LGA: 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011 CPU (Core ™ i3 / i5 / i7 CPU).AMD Socket: FM1 / FM2 / FM2 + / AM2 / AM2 + / AM3 / AM3 + CPU.

We align the screws through the holes and turn the motherboard over.

We add the four spacers on the screws and assemble the two supports (see first image) and begin to screw the 4 screws. Next we apply thermal paste on the heatsink. With a line or a line plus two smaller ones are enough, remember that we have a single-dose sample of thermal paste.

Installation of spacers.

We choose the position of the heatsink and tighten hooks.

We install the heatsink on top and screw the two screws of the last adapter. The last thing we have left is to install the two fans. Here we go!

In the four holes of the fans we insert silentblocks and anchor it to the heatsink. Everything is very easy and intuitive.

We have the assembly ready, we connect the two fans to the motherboard and we are done.

As we can see the heatsink is compatible with memory without high profile heatsinks. So be careful when choosing memories. For example, the HyperX series from Kingston, G.Skills Ares, ripjaws and with low profile heats serves us.

And finally some images of the heatsink and how is it?

To test the actual performance of the heatsink we have stressed the Intel i7 4770k (Socket 1150) with prime numbers (Prime95 custom) for more than 24 continuous hours. For those who do not know, Prime95, is a well-known software in the overclocking sector, which allows us to detect failures when the processor works 100% for long hours. In the same situation we have programs that use other stress algorithms such as Linx and Intel Burn TestV2.

WE RECOMMEND Bq Aquaris 5: characteristics, availability and price.

How are we going to measure the processor temperature?

We will use the internal sensors of the processor. For this test on Intel processors we will use the “Core Temp” application in its latest version. Although it is not the most reliable test, it will be our reference in all our analyzes. The test bench will be around 20ºC ambient temperature.

Let's see the results obtained:

they are 27ºC in idle 44ºC in Full. While with an overclock with an overclock 1.28va 4600 mhz with results of 30ºC and 64ºC respectively.

Final words and conclusion

Raijintek Tisis is a high-end double tower heatsink built with top-notch materials: nickel-plated copper and aluminum. Its measurements, volume and weight are quite significant: 140x130x166.5 mm and a weight of 1050 grams without fans installed.

It incorporates two 140x150x25 mm fans, They rotate at a maximum speed of 1, 000 RPM. Regarding their performance we can say that they are very good, since they have an air flow of 70.2 CFM and a loudness of up to 23 dBA. To test the performance of the processor one hundred percent, we have used our best processor: i7-4770k in stock values and overclock: 4600 mhz at 1.28v. Some tests we have been able to reach 4700 mhz, but it was already too many degrees. The motherboard is a Z87 and low profile memory. The results have been very good in stock 27ºC in idle 44ºC in Full as with overclocking: 30ºC and 64ºC. He did the job of the engineers!

We would have liked the heatsink to have allowed us to install conventional fans (120mm) and the possibility of mounting memory with high profile dissipation, but the latter is unlikely due to the dimensions of the heatsink.

In short, if you are looking for a high performance air sink, fans with high flow / loudness at a very competitive price. The Tisis heatsink should be among its candidates, currently the cheapest among its competitors.
