Rog strix xg438q: the new asus monitor for € 1,100 for this month

At the end of this month we have a new monitor from the gaming line of the giant ASUS . It was already announced at CES 2019 in January , but it won't be until the beginning of September when we can buy the ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q .

The new ASUS ROG Strix XG438Q is a monitor loaded with luxurious features.

It is a 43 ″ screen with a VA panel mounted and will support 4K resolutions with FreeSync 2 and HDR . With just these features, this monitor becomes an excellent choice for both gaming and quality everyday use.

On the other hand, it will also have a base refresh rate of 120Hz and Game Fast Input technology (in Spanish) . With the latter, the aim is to considerably improve the Input Lag problems that are usually associated with these monitors with such high image quality.

The ROG Strix XG438Q has a DisplayHDR 600 certificate given by VESA, which translates into a brightness of up to 600 nits. Best of all, we can change the mode to suit the task in which we can choose between:

Finally, we must talk about the connectivity of the device, which is quite good.

For this high resolution and high refresh rate monitor we will have three HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 , Dual USB 3.0 and a sound jack. In addition, to correctly configure the video input and other important sections, we will have at our disposal a remote control.

Of course, this monitor can almost serve as a game station and as the main television in your home (although only if you run Twitch, YouTube…) .
