We continue with the latest launches of the different brands and this time it is the turn of the new ASUS monitor, which, due to its gigantic size, looks more like a TV, but fulfills a thousand wonders with the quality characteristics of a good high-end monitor. With a giant 43-inch size, we find a VA panel that offers excellent contrast and accurate and balanced colors, with a brightness of up to 600 nits that complies with the VESA DisplayHDR 600 standard .

HDR expands the contrast range and offers deeper black colors and brighter whites, for a richer, deeper image than normal SDR. For more, we have local dimming, a feature that lowers the brightness by zones to obtain even more contrast and impressive black colors.

Moving on to other features, we have a minimized input lag system, Freesync 2 HDR support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4K resolution. Despite the fact that the Freesync is oriented to AMD graphics cards, the most ideal would be to use this monitor with RTX 2080 Ti due to its resolution and refresh rate hardly usable even with the best on the market.

As interesting additions, we have GamePlus technology that allows us to choose overlays to use during games with different competitive improvements, as well as a picture-in-picture mode to simultaneously see different image sources. The monitor inputs are three HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort.
