NVIDIA is not standing still and wants to take one last hit within its series of 12nm Turing graphics cards. We are talking about the GeForce RTX 2070 Ti, which was often speculated, but for which we had no evidence until now.
The RTX 2070 Ti is a reality and would come with 7.5 GB of VRAM
A new graphics card has been detected in the Userbench database and it is an RTX 2070 Ti. The card sits squarely between the RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 in terms of performance, but it features a slightly slower clock speed than either of them and a weird 7.5 GB VRAM memory spec, somewhat untypical, unless it is an error in the Userbench database itself.
It is important to remember that none of this can be verified right now until we have a real card to verify. Although there isn't a great distance between the RTX 2080 and the RTX 2070 in terms of performance, an RTX 2070 Ti could fill the $ 200 (approx) price gap between them.

This launch may have something to do with AMD's next move, which is launching Navi graphics cards this summer. Is NVIDIA getting ahead of AMD's moves? We can only speculate at this point, but, after all, the only purpose of the 1070 Ti was to remove Vega 56 from AMD, and let's just say it was successful at the time.
The most important aspect in all of this, as always, is the consumer. Do you want to buy an RTX 2070 Ti?
