VideoCardz has leaked three custom models of the RX 5500 XT from manufacturers ASRock and Gigabyte. The ASRock and Gigabyte models showcase AMD's own custom silicon-based cooling solutions Navi 14.
AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT and ASRock and Gigabyte custom models
ASRock is going to launch a RX 5500 XT from its Challenger series that will join the company's first-line Phantom Gaming brand. The Challenger D 8G OC (which will also be available in 4GB VRAM) features a dual-slot cooler and two fans to take care of GPU cooling.
The model comes with a factory overclocking at 1737 MHz. As for connectivity, we have 3 DisplayPort ports and 1 HDMI connector.
For its part, Gigabyte is going to launch two models, which are the RX 5500 XT OC and GAMING OC. The Gaming OC features the classic three-fan WindForce 3X cooling system. Gaming OC also features a 1737 MHz overclocking frequency, and both it and the dual-fan RX 5500 XT OC will be available in 4GB and 8GB VRAM capacities. We have 3 DisplayPort ports and 1 an HDMI connector.
The difference between both models at the level of performance would be laughable, around 1.2%.
