Rx 5500 xt will launch with prices of 169 usd (4gb) and 199 usd (8gb)

The Radeon RX 5500 XT is shaping up for launch in the next few hours and we know it will do so with two memory options. Videocardz source has confirmed that the 4GB model will retail for around $ 169 and the 8GB variant will cost at least $ 199 (Suggested Price).

RX 5500 XT launches tomorrow with 4 or 8 GB variants

This new model powered by the Navi 14 GPU aims to compete against Nvidia's GTX Turing options in the mid-range segment. The Radeon RX 5500 XT will rank between the GTX 1650 SUPER and the GTX 1660 in terms of performance. The latter model is already experiencing a price reduction from 219 to 199 euros.

The price of $ 169 and $ 199 is a little more than we expected, considering how cheap the current Polaris series like the RX 570-580-590 are, which has paid off so well for the red company.

The RX 5500 XT features a Navi 14 XTX graphics processor with 1408 cores. We should note that this is not the full chip as the fully unlocked GPUs have 1536 processing cores, and it is exclusive to Apple's Radeon Pro series.
