The latest report on the market share and revenues of AMD Ryzen and Intel Core processors from the largest German retailer Mindfactory , show us sales figures for Ryzen 3000, basically beating Intel Core by 4 to 1.

Sales at launch of Ryzen 3000 were impressive

AMD was already outperforming Intel sales year-round, but in July the difference was record, coinciding with the launch of third-generation Ryzen Zen 2 processors.

Almost a month has passed since the launch of Ryzen 3000 series processors. The processors hit the market on July 7, so it's only been 23 days since they hit stores, but Intel's worst nightmare has come true. Not only did AMD crush its rival with a 79% market share, but the recorded number was also the highest in a year for the red team. Intel, for its part, managed the lowest market share in more than a year with only 21%.

Looking at sales figures, AMD's reported CPU share sold at 79% was even higher than that of Ryzen's first generation and second generation launch. The Ryzen 7 3700X was the most popular chip at launch. The Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 5 2600 followed, and the reason was due to the incredible value offered by the 6 core chips plus the incredible discounts on the Ryzen 5 2600, which has also been cut in other markets.

The Ryzen 9 3900X sold larger quantities than the Core i9-9900K, Intel's flagship, as it offers more cores and spectacular multitasking performance.

When it comes to sales revenue, AMD got the bulk of the share, at 75%, while Intel settled for 25% in July. Most of the revenue came from Ryzen 7 3700X.

This news is absolutely fantastic for AMD and shows that more consumers are replacing Intel CPUs with new Ryzen processors that offer better features and much more multitasking performance.
