It's not often to see a brand-new processor running on a computer in a public showroom, but that's exactly what was seen at the Colorful booth. In this case, it's the unreleased Ryzen 5 3400G, which comes with a Vega 11 iGPU.

Results on Cinebench R15 are 162cb single core and 712cb multi-core

AMD's chip was working on a Colorful CVN X570 V20 motherboard, which also means this is the first Ryzen 3000 chip that was working on an X570 motherboard publicly.

However, while both the Ryzen 5 3400G and Ryzen 3 3200G hit the market with the 3000 series brand, they should not be confused with desktop processors. These APU processors, codenamed Picasso, are based on the Zen + architecture and a 12nm node, they do not use the Zen 2 and 7nm architecture.

The eight-core quad-core chip works at 3.8 / 4.2 GHz base / boost, which is a considerable increase over the Ryzen 5 2400G, which operates at frequencies of 3.6 / 3.9 GHz base / boost. The sample chip was paired with DDR4-2400 memory, but we are sure it is not the official memory speed, so performance could be higher with DDR-3200 memory.

You can also see tests in 3DMark (above) to see how its Vega 11 chip behaves at a graphic level. The official announcement of this chip and others from the Ryzen 3000 series is expected very soon.
