The Radeon VII graphics cards will be released tomorrow, February 7, and reports regarding their availability in Europe are alarming. Apparently, according to Cowcotland sources, only 20 units would have been shipped to Spain and another 20 to France, plus some 100 units to the United Kingdom.

So let's talk about availability for Spain and even for other countries. In Spain, there will only be 20 cards available at launch and they would all be in the same store according to the source. The United Kingdom will be the most 'benefited' with a stock of 100 units.

Therefore, the few graphics cards will be available drop-wise as we said and we will have some models such as Sapphire, MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte. What will happen after the launch? AMD has not given a date for the replenishment of stock and it is also the Chinese New Year, so the factories are closed, which will not help the situation. Knowing this, we could speculate that there will be no new stock until March, as factories in China would be operational again in mid-February.

This shortage could also spark some speculation by retailers, and raise prices as they see fit.

At least, we can't say that AMD will do a 'paper' launch because some cards will be available, but still, there are going to be very few lucky people who will have one of them at launch.
