The new Samsung 750 EVO SSD mass storage devices hit the market to offer excellent performance on both desktops and laptops while maintaining a very affordable price.

The new Samsung 750 EVO SSDs are presented in the usual 2.5-inch format with a SATA III 6 Gb / s interface to offer compatibility with as many devices as possible. Inside is a dual-core Samsung MGX controller, 16nm NAND TLC memory technology from the South Korean firm itself and the use of 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM memory as a cache.
It will be marketed in 120GB and 250GB variants offering sequential read and write speeds of 540MB / s and 520MB / s respectively while its random read and write performance amounts to 97, 000 IOPS and 88, 000 IOPS. Regarding its estimated durability, the 120 GB version offers a TBW of 35TB and the 250GB model offers a 70GB TBW. Both have AES-256 encryption, TCG Opal 2.0, IEEE-1667 and TRIM support.
The 750 EVO offers a 3-year warranty and comes with recommended prices of € 55 for the 120GB drive and about € 75 for the 250GB drive.
