One of the most important goals of Samsung One UI is to help users focus on the task at hand. To accomplish this, Samsung One UI removes a lot of the clutter from the Samsung Experience, and makes things a lot cleaner. For example, the settings page is further simplified, and regroups certain settings to make them easier to access. The phone app also has a new look, to show only essential information.

Samsung is also promoting Samsung One UI as something more natural, saying it is restructured in the way we interact with our devices. Traditional buttons toward the top of the screen have been moved closer to the bottom, and in many of Samsung's apps, the top area is reserved exclusively for viewing content that you don't have to interact with.
Third, Samsung One UI aims to be visibly comfortable. Colors have been modified to provide greater clarity, and based on the color of your phone, the UI elements will be modified to match.
If you're interested in being one of the first to try One UI, an open beta will be available this November, though only if you live in the US. USA, Germany and Korea. It will officially launch on the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 in January 2019.
