Nvidia and Samsung are in the midst of a legal battle accusing each other of infringing patents and misleading advertising, now the patent war between the two companies is taking it to the next level with Samsung filing a lawsuit with the United States International Trade Commission (TIC) calling for the importation of Nvidia GPUs into the United States to be blocked.
With this, Samsung seeks to block sales of GeForce graphics cards and devices equipped with Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC. Samsung has sued Nvidia for misleading advertising by saying the tegra K1 chip is the most powerful mobile processor on the market. A claim that South Koreans agree with and claim that their Exynos 5433 SoC is the fastest and most powerful mobile processor on the market.
