Samsung reveals its ultrawide c43j89 monitor in 32:10 ratio
Table of contents:
Screens with 16: 9 aspect resolution represent the majority of monitors today, but more and more are betting on wider Ultrawide monitors, which offer us a greater panorama when it comes to playing or working. Samsung C43J89 goes in that line entirely.
Samsung C43J89 Ultrawide introduces new 32:10 aspect ratio (equals two 16: 9 monitors)
Today, we have the addition of FreeSync and G-Sync to the market, along with several new ultra-wide form factors like 21: 9 and even 32: 9, offering a wider field of view that is particularly attractive. The addition of HDR also enables monitors to provide brighter lights and a higher contrast ratio than ever, as well as a wider color gamut to create increasingly realistic images.
Samsung has added a new ultra-wide format to the mix with its 43-inch C43J89 monitor, which offers a 32:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3840 × 1200 pixels. In practice, this screen acts as two 1920 × 1200 monitors next to each other, although being a single monitor there are no annoying bezels to worry about.
The monitor itself uses a VA panel and offers a 120Hz refresh rate, although Samsung has unfortunately not listed this monitor with support for HDR or a VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) standard like FreeSync or G-Sync. This monitor supports 8-bit color, offers a 5 ms gray-to-gray response time, and offers a standard sRGB color gamut.
C43J89 will use HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, although the display also offers display connectivity through its two USB Type-C ports.
Samsung is expected to release this screen later this year for a price of around $ 900.
