Samsung has signed a collaboration agreement with AMD. The two companies have already made it official and it is an agreement of importance for both, but above all it is key for the Korean manufacturer. Samsung wants to improve the graphics power in their phones, especially to be able to compete with the Adreno GPUs that we find in Qualcomm processors. In addition, the Korean firm seeks to be able to have phones that are competitive in the field of gaming phones, so it is an important step for them in this regard.

The integration is underway, but at the moment there are no specific dates. It is estimated that in 2021 they will already be a reality, although some media say that next year there will be a phone with an AMD GPU. For now it is too early to say whether this is true or not.
