The Scythe Kabuto 3 comes to succeed the Kabuto 2 and offer a high performance solution to users who need a low profile heatsink for their system. This new heatsink has dimensions of 130 x 125 x 149 mm with a total weight of 72 grams and is compatible with Intel LGA775 / 1150/1151/1155/1156/1366 and AMD AM2 (+), AM3 (+), FM1 and FM2.
The Scythe Kabuto 3 is made up of a dense aluminum fin radiator that is pierced by three nickel-plated copper heatpipes with a diameter of 6 mm that are responsible for absorbing the heat generated by the CPU and distributing it throughout the body of the radiator. The set is completed by a 120mm Scythe Glide Stream fan with PWM speed control and an ability to rotate at a speed between 300 RPM and 1400RPM to generate a maximum air flow of 1.56mmH²O and a loudness of just 28 dBA.
The heatsink includes thermal paste and is compatible with RAM modules with high-profile heatsinks. It will arrive at an approximate price of 45-50 euros.
