Aorus x5 v8 and x7 dt v8 notebooks announced

Two new laptops have been shown at Computex by Aorus, the Aorus X5 v8 and X7 DT v8. What will these two monsters have in store for us?

Aorus X5 v8

This first model of laptop, which we can see in images, was at the Aorus stands confirming its appearance and its most important specifications, making it clear that it is a laptop with magnificent specifications just like the X7 DT v8.

First, we find a laptop with a 15.6-inch IPS Full-HD screen. This display also supports G-Sync technology. Inside we see that it has a powerful Intel Core i7-8850H processor that operates at a minimum frequency of 2.4GHz and a maximum of 4.3GHz. The amount of DDR4 RAM can be a maximum of 32GB.

The graphics card will be the GeForce GTX 1070. Finally, this system supports one hard disk drive plus two SSD drives.

Aorus X7 DT v8

This laptop with a 17.3-inch screen and 144 Hz refreshment goes a little further, maintaining the same processor as the previous model, but the maximum amount of memory is increased to 64GB and the graphics card is the GTX 1080.

Then the features are similar, with the layout and backlit keyboard featuring Aorus RGB technology. USB 3.1, HDMI 2.0, ESS Saber Hi-Fi Audio DAC and Thunderbolt 3 sound system.

As we can see, it is an incredible team and it has been decided to eliminate the GTX 1070 SLI instead of a GTX 1080 card. The main reason is to avoid higher temperatures and have the power of the single core.

Availability and price

Aorus presents both laptops, among others, without a confirmed availability date or prices. Although it is expected that its launch in Spain is imminent, since Aorus is usually quite fast in replenishing stock. We will be informing you about them as soon as we know it.
