It didn't take long for users of the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti graphics cards to report the first issues on the official Nvidia forums. Specifically, there is talk of artifacts, black screen and various other problems.

GeForce RTX issues appear

GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti are the new top of the range graphics cards on the market, based on the new Turing architecture that is manufactured by TSMC with its 12nm FinFET process, the same used with Volta GPUs. Several users have visited the official Nvidia forums reporting various problems with the new cards. There are problems with artifacts, fans that start spinning at maximum speed for no reason, screens that go black, SLI configurations that do not work and several others.

It is not surprising that with the arrival of a new generation of graphics cards some problems arise, in this case it is especially serious since we are talking about the company's new top-of-the-range cards, with a price that is very close to 1000 euros or even exceeds it in the case of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

For now we will have to wait to see if it is a problem that is solved with a new version of drivers, or if it is due to some physical damage in a consignment of cards. We have already tried quite a few models, and we have not seen any type of problem, which makes us think that it is a very isolated case.
