Galax rtx 2070 and 2060 17.5cm long cards revealed

Two graphics cards from the GALAX brand have been revealed today, which stand out particularly for coming in a ' Mini ' design of 17.5 centimeters long. The GALAX GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 have been seen in Japan.

GALAX is ready for the Japanese market with the 17.5 cm long GeForce RTX 2070 and RTX 2060, exclusively distributed by Kurouto Shikou.

The two models are identical at the design level with their short length despite not being taller than the standard ATX height, and they are no thicker than 2 slots. They use a dense aluminum fin heatsink that is vented by two 80mm fans. From what we can see in the only revealed image, the PCB looks shorter than the aluminum case and block, and even the second fan on the right has a slice in the air.

The RTX 2070 Mini (GK-RTX2070-E8GB / MINI) works at maximum frequencies for the GPU of 1620 MHz, while the RTX 2060 Mini (GK-RTX2060-E6GB / MINI) works with 1650 MHz. Both cards offer a DisplayPort, DVI and HDMI for each, and consume power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector.

Despite the fact that the fans seem to be translucent, there is no mention of some type of RGB lighting on both graphics cards, which would not surprise us at all knowing that Mini models often lack this type of functions.

At the moment, we do not know if both GK-RTX2060-E6GB / MINI graphics cards and the GK-RTX2070-E8GB / MINI are going to leave Japan to land in the West, most likely yes, but not immediately.
