Table of contents:
- Gigabyte RTX 2060 6GB, 4GB, 3GB, GDDR6 and GDDR5 / X have been revealed by the EEC
- All Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 models
According to the latest entry in the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), Gigabyte is preparing various graphics cards based on the GeForce RTX 2060. In this leak we can see that there will be models with three different memory configurations: 6 GB, 4 GB and 3 GB, but it also lists the GDDR6 and GDDR5 (X) variants of each.
Gigabyte RTX 2060 6GB, 4GB, 3GB, GDDR6 and GDDR5 / X have been revealed by the EEC
Until now we only knew about the model with 6 GB GDDR6 memory, but if this information is true, then NVIDIA will provide enough models for partners to choose and accommodate prices as best suits them.
One of the most interesting models is the 4 GB variant. This card is definitely not going to offer a 192-bit memory bus, so it is likely to be a higher clock speed model.
Meanwhile, the 6GB and 3GB cards are likely to share clock speeds, but possibly have different CUDA core counts, just like the GTX 1060 series did.
All models are divided into GD and GC series, the first is used for all RTX 20 series that have GDDR6 memory, while the second is based on GDDR5 or GDDR5X.
We expect Gigabyte to launch their respective AORUS Xtreme, Gaming OC, WindForce 3X / 2X and Mini ATX series, all based on RTX 2060 in early 2019.
