Rare has announced the release of the new Sea of ​​Thieves 1.1.4 update for its acclaimed pirate world based adventure title. This update ends the Skeleton Thrones event from previous weeks, and offers a new Bilge Rat Adventure event.

The new Bilge Rat Adventure event introduces skeletons carrying powder kegs that will rush towards unsuspecting pirates to explode. This event will continue until July 10, and players will have to destroy the skeletons in unconventional ways, which have not yet been released, you can give free rein to your imagination. Skeletons no longer have a chance to do a Deadshot.

Gunpowder barrels also involve new mechanics, and it will be possible to generate a massive explosion in five seconds. The barrels will also affect ships much more when they explode, with the force of the explosion swinging and pushing ships around.
