Sony has introduced SD memory cards that promise to be the fastest in the world, with data transfer rates never seen before. The SD card is the SF-G UHS-II series and on the label itself we can see its capabilities.
SF-G UHS-II series with speeds of 300 MB / s
SF-G UHS-II series are the new SD memory cards specially prepared for photo and video cameras that have the ability to capture content in 4K. In those large video resolutions, you need a memory that has a very good constant speed, something that this SD card exceeds. The SF-G UHS-II series memory has a data transfer rate of 299 MB / s, while the data reading remains the same, about 300 MB / s.
To give us an idea of the speeds that these SF-G UHS-II series cards achieve, it means more than double that of a normal hard drive. Sony's SD card has proprietary technology, an algorithm that theoretically prevents data writing speed from slowing down while you're at work.
They will come in capacities of 32, 64 and 128GB
Sony also offers additional software that allows recovery of data that may have been corrupted, including RAW images and 4K XAVC-S video files. The cards are waterproof and have anti-static capabilities for passing through transportation center scanners.
The SF-G UHS-II series cards, the fastest in the world, will arrive in spring in capacities of 32, 64 and 128GB, the price is unknown at the moment.
