Sharkoon SKILLER SGK5: a membrane keyboard with RGB lighting for gamers
It complies with everything that gamers are currently looking for in a keyboard, which undoubtedly helps it to be a popular option in this market segment.
Brand new keyboard
The SKILLER SGK5 has six-zone RGB backlighting and a range of 16.8 million colors. We have preconfigured lighting effects, effects that can be selected, using the dedicated keys, even without the use of any software. To carry out more personalized effects, a software is available (free download), which will allow us to modify the lighting as we please. Thanks to the SKILLER SGK5's n-key rollover, a good number of keys can be pressed at the same time and these will be registered in the keyboard system. Combined with anti-ghosting technology, gamers will never lose control of the game, even during the most hectic paces.
The SKILLER SGK5's detachable wrist rest can be magnetically attached to the keyboard easily, providing optimal and comfortable keyboard handling and use. If the palm rest is not necessary, it can simply be removed. To record inputs particularly quickly, the Sharkoon keyboard is equipped with half-height and quick-triggering keys with a cap height of only seven millimeters. The life cycle of the membrane amounts to at least 10 million keystrokes, and thus we can expect a long useful life for the keyboard. If desired, it is also possible to regulate the response time of the keys.
Additionally, Sharkoon has equipped the keyboard with dedicated keys for lighting effects, macros, and gaming profiles. The keys allow uncomplicated daily use in any situation while playing. With two integrated rotary knobs in the upper right corner of the keyboard, we can intuitively adjust the volume and brightness of the lighting. Through the free downloadable game software, in addition to lighting we can also control numerous keyboard functions. We can easily program macros and multimedia commands, reassign and save to a number of profiles. The settings can be saved in the SKILLER SGK5's built-in memory.
The firm announces that this keyboard is now officially available in Europe. It can be purchased with an official price of 39.99 euros.
