The new barebone Shuttle XPC SH310R4 system uses a motherboard on the Intel H310 Express chipset. Shuttle XPC SH310R4 has a built-in gigabit network controller and a Realtek ALC662 audio codec. It is possible to install a solid state drive in the M.2 2280 format, as well as a Wi-Fi wireless adapter. In addition, a PCIe x16 Gen3.0 slot is provided to make use of a discrete graphics card.
