Silent hills pt, fans relaunch their demo with the unreal engine 4
Table of contents:
PT could already be considered an urban video game legend. Guillermo del Toro and Hideo Kojima's horror game was canceled after it successfully went through the Playstation 4 console as a demo, which we could easily play in less than 1 hour.
PT Silent Hills comes to life
PT was a kind of remake of the Silent Hills saga that amazed millions of players who love horror titles, but Konami finally gave it a thumbs up due to a production cost problem.
Some fans of the game and programmers decided to take that demo and relaunch it using the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine. The game was created by SmoggyChips and is not complete, but if they have decided to launch a kind of prototype that is available to download and play for free.
It should be noted that this remake is not the only one that goes around the net, there is also a version created by LinusPixel , which is constantly improving, trying to recreate as faithfully as possible the work done in the original game.
To create both demos, the same materials have been used as the work created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, textures, sounds and effects, only now it uses the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine.
In order to run the latest demo on our computer, we will need at least a 64-bit Windows 7 system, 8GB of RAM and a quad- core @ 2.5GHz processor. The graphics card must be DirectX 11 compatible.
