Silverstone Announces Argon Ar01 V3 CPU Heatsink

SilverStone announces the launch of the new Argon AR01 V3 CPU Cooler. This is a heat pipe direct contact U-shaped tower heatsink that uses three 8mm copper tubes. SilverStone ensures it offers a great balance between noise, performance and affordable cost.

SilverStone Argon AR01 V3 will be available on November 9 for 31 euros

The 120mm fan operates at speeds between 600 to 2200 RPM and generates a noise level of between 15 and 38 dBA. At maximum RPM, it is capable of expelling 70.65CFM of air flow and has an air pressure rating of 3.05mm / H2O. This fan uses a hydraulic bearing, so it lasts a bit longer than typical bushings. In fact, it has a life expectancy of 40, 000 hours.

Since it only has three heatpipes, the heatsink diameter is only 50mm in diameter. The total is up to 75mm with the fan installed. This makes it comfortable to not collide with any DIMM slot. Although in case your board has the memory banks closest to the CPU socket, always move the fan bracket up.

What sockets are compatible with the AR01-V3?

Argon's AR01-V3 series is compatible with Intel sockets: LGA775 / 1150/1151/1155/1156/1366/2011/2066 . In the case of AMD: AM2 / AM3 / AM4 / FM1 / FM2 .

Alternatively, it is also available with ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance decals and brands. With a black and yellow theme, it would go well aesthetically with other TGA products.
