SilverStone today unveiled the Strider Plus Bronze line of mid-range power supplies with full modular cabling. These power supplies are updated to ATX / EPS standards and offer everything we need to set up a powerful desktop for gaming or other demanding tasks.

Strider Plus Bronze fountains come in 550W, 650W, and 750W configurations

Available in 550W, 650W and 750W capacities, these power supplies have a compact design with only 140mm depth. A 120mm fan with a minimum noise output of 18 dBA is used to keep the unit cool at all times. SilverStone also includes flat ribbon cables.

Under the hood is a single + 12V rail design with 80 Plus Bronze efficiency, offering about 42.5A that powers the 550W model, a 50.8A rail for the 650W model, and a 59.2A rail for the 750W model. It also has active PFC, the latest support for C states and the most common electrical protections, against over or under voltage, overload, overheating and short circuits, to prevent anything from damaging the motherboard and all the components connected to it.
