Fix for error in adobe illustrator language for non-unicode programs

Anonim

I have had to investigate how to fix the error that Adobe Illustrator throws on the change of language for non-unicode programs on a Workstation computer of a known.

The error it throws exactly is this:

We must download the following files, in my case it is the 64bit application.

  • For Illustrator 32-bit: Illustrator_en_Win8_1_Alcid_1_1_x86.zip For Illustrator 64-bit:
    Illustrator_es_Win8_1_Alcid_1_1_x64.zip

And copy the Alcid.dll file in the following path:

  • For Illustrator 32-bit: C: \ Program Files (x86) Adobe \ Adobe Illustrator CS6 (64 Bit) Support Files \ Contents \ Windows For Illustrator 64-bit: C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe Illustrator CS6 (64 Bit) Support Files \ Contents \ Windows

It is very important not to have any open Adobe process, once the library is pasted we proceed to start Illustrator and the error will no longer appear. I have verified that it works on both Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
