Sony has sold 1.6 million phones in the third quarter

It is also a drop from the second quarter of this year, in which Sony achieved worldwide sales of 2 million phones. The markets in which this decline has originated are Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, at least according to what the company says.

The losses in the telephone subsidiary do not stop growing. It has been speculated for months that the Japanese firm could be considering abandoning this market segment, something that at the moment does not seem to be happening, despite the poor results.
