Sony Xperia XA2 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra arrived earlier this year, and now the Japanese manufacturer introduced an intermediate solution called Xperia XA2 Plus. It has the same 23MP MotionEye camera and the same Snapdragon 630 chipset as its XA2 siblings, but is slightly more ergonomic thanks to the narrower bezels and taller screen.

Xperia XA2 Plus is a 6-inch smartphone with mid-range specifications

The XA2 Plus is the first device in the XA2 line with an 18: 9 ratio. The LCD screen is about 6 inches and has a Full HD + resolution. The modern screen of the phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 technology.

The Snapdragon 630 chipset houses an 8-core CPU running 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 508 GPU. The XA2 Plus is offered with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage capacity, luckily there is SD slot to be able to expand this capacity.

The 23 MP rear camera has a 1 / 2.3 ″ Exmor RS sensor with 84 degree wide angle lens and f / 2.0 aperture. It is ISO 12, 800 compliant and records 4K videos, but it also has 120fps slow speed recording.

The front camera has an 8 MP 1/4 ″ Exmor R sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens that has an f / 2.4 aperture. There are tons of features, including Bokeh mode, Soft Skin, and a few other face-altering effects.

The battery cell is the same as that of the larger XA2 Ultra, with a capacity of 3, 580 mAh and support for Quick Charge 3.0. The charging port on the bottom is USB-C and has a noise-canceling microphone and speaker to keep you company. A 3.5mm jack is also added for use with any headset.

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus comes in four colors: black, silver, gold, and green. Availability and prices have not yet been confirmed.
