The famous fighting videogame Soul Calibur VI is coming to PC later this year and NVIDIA is revealing to us what the minimum and recommended requirements are going to be, which are not going to be as high as one might expect.

Soul Calibur VI will be released on October 19 for PC

Last year Bandai-Namco brought Tekken to PC for the first time with the release of Tekken 7, which proved popular with the computer fighting game community and Steam users alike. Following the success of Tekken 7, Bandai-Namco is preparing the Soul Calibur franchise for its first PC release, with Soul Calibur VI later this year.

Like Tekken 7, Soul Calibur VI has been developed in Unreal Engine 4, increasing the levels of detail to the maximum, and the rendering resolution in 4K, in what seems to be a very beast technological leap compared to the previous installment.

Minimum requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core Intel Core i3-4160 at 3.60 GHz or equivalent GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Legacy GPUs: GeForce GTX 660, 750 Ti or equivalent) RAM: 6GB Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 (versions of 64-bit) Hard Drive: 60 GB of free space DirectX: Version 11

Recommended requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5 GHz or equivalent GPU: GeForce GTX 1060, or equivalent, or higher RAM: 8GB Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 (64-bit versions) Hard Drive: 60 GB of free space DirectX: Version 11

The recommended requirements seem to be acceptable, since with a mid-range graphics card you can play with the graphics to the fullest. Soul Calibur VI will be out on October 19.
