Bandai Namco has now revealed the official system requirements for its fighting game Soul Calibur 6 through its Steam page. According to the specs, PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i3-4160 with 6GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card to be able to play it in the minimum and necessary conditions.

Soul Calibur 6 will also come with Denuvo protection

The folks at Bandai Namco recommend an Intel Core i5-4690 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 card to be able to play around with the graphics to the fullest. In addition, and like the previous Bandai Namco fighting game, Tekken 7, Soul Calibur 6 will use Denuvo technology, which is causing so much controversy among players due to its supposed impact on performance.

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit) Processor: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz or equivalent Memory: 6 GB RAMGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Storage: 20 GB of available space

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit) Processor: Intel Core i5-4690 @ 3.5 GHz or equivalent Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 1060 or equivalent Storage: 20 GB of available space

As we can see, the differences between the minimum and maximum requirements does not seem to be much as it happens in other video games. We will have to wait until October 18, or a little earlier, to see how it behaves optimally on PC.

As for Denuvo, it seems that the 'crackers' are not having anything easy to violate the new versions, especially after one of them was arrested by the Bulgarian authorities last July.
