Spotify will raise its prices in some markets soon

Spotify currently has two payment plans: The Premium Account and the Family Plan. Since both have been launched, their prices have remained unchanged, but this is something that could change shortly. Since in some markets they are working on a rise in their prices, at least in the case of the family plan. The firm seeks to obtain more income.

On this occasion, Denmark, Sweden and Norway would be the countries in which this price increase will take place, as has been known. It should not be ruled out that in the future it will reach others.

According to what has been known so far, this price increase on Spotify would be 13% in these markets. So users with a family plan will have to pay this extra amount. It would not be unreasonable to think that if this comes out as the company expects, the price of this family plan will end up rising in other markets. Although this is something that has not yet been confirmed.

First we will have to wait for the price increase in Scandinavia to become official. In fact, it hasn't even been officially announced anymore. So we first have to wait to see if this is really true or not.

It would not be unusual for the company to upload them. They need to be profitable, something they know, so a price rise is always a way to earn more income. We will see if Spotify officially announces this rise and if, with the passage of time, it reaches more markets.
