Steam reaches 15 million simultaneous players

Steam has become the most used online video game platform by the PC community and today practically any video game worth its salt is launched in this store. The popularity of Steam is so impressive that today it has achieved a historical record, reaching 15 million users connected simultaneously.

A new historical record for Steam

The figure of 15 million players connected at the same time is achieved for the first time in the 14 years of life of this store, but there are also other very interesting data.

To make a little history, in 2012 Steam had achieved the record of 6 million connected players at the same time and in 2014 it exceeded 75 million registered accounts.
