Steam link will be integrated into all samsung televisions

Valve and Samsung join forces with an agreement that was announced a few hours ago. From now on, all Samsung Smart TVs will bring a Steam Link.

Steam Link is a device that connects to any TV and allows us to enjoy our Steam games. The device detects any computer within the local network that has Steam open, so we do not need to have the computer in the room (for example) we just have to connect the controller and start playing comfortably there.

With this agreement between Steam and Samsung, Steam Link will come as standard within the new TVs of the Korean brand. This new Samsung strategy can tip the balance when choosing the next Smart TV, in addition to saving the purchase of the Steam device that costs about 50 euros.

This is not Samsung's first advance in the field of video games, recently it also reached an agreement with Sony to implement Playstation Now as standard, the Japanese brand's cloud gaming service.
