Steamos 2.84 solves the "black screen" in nvidia graphics

A few days ago SteamOS 2.83 Beta, Valve's video game-oriented operating system that is based on Ubuntu 8.5 "Jessie" was released along with the important graphic drivers AMDGPU-PRO RC2 and NVIDIA 367.2. Everything seemed to be fine but suddenly, many users with Nvidia graphics cards were surprised that after installing the ISO image on their computers, the screen was completely black.

To solve this problem, Valve released SteamOS 2.84 yesterday that solves the "Black Screen" on computers with Nvidia graphics. The curious thing about this problem is that Valve's own programmers were unable to reproduce the problem in their labs:

“This is a special update edition for the weekend. This should resolve the black screen issue after booting into Nvidia computers. There have been many cases of black screen but I want to report that I was not able to reproduce it, so please report here if you still have problems, “ was the statement from a member of Valve on Steam.

To fix the black screen error Valve decided to update the following steamos-base-files, glx-alternatives, amdgpu-pro-installer and nvidia-graphics-drivers packages. Apparently this update does fix the problem as there have been no visible complaints from the community.
