Steamos is updated with support for the xbox one elite controller
SteamOS is the operating system that will bring the Steam Machines to life, a new conception of video consoles that should offer the best of the PC world and the best of current consoles, since it was announced we have not seen many news but finally the operating system has been updated to add support for the Xbox One Elite Controller.
The latest SteamOS update is number 2.60 and offers compatibility with the new Xbox One Elite Controller gamepad in addition to fixing various system errors and various security patches. Also from now on you should be able to use bluetooth to connect the operating system with a multitude of gamepads and headsets with this wireless technology.
Updates that help to make a slightly better operating system that has not just taken off and that for now looks more like it will end up being a failure than something that can achieve success. The arrival of Windows 10 and the promise of improving performance with DX12 certainly do not help Valve's operating system.
