Many important Microsoft games such as Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Recore or Dead Rising 4 will arrive in the Windows 10 Store this year, which is great news for PC gamers. The big drawback is that these titles will only be available in the Microsoft store and not on the classic Steam platform, which is much more ready for video games.

Gears of War 4 is coming to Windows 10 in October

Among the drawbacks and shortcomings of the Windows 10 Store we could talk about one of the most important, that when we buy a game it is installed by default in the C: drive (or where the system is installed). When we buy a game in the Windows 10 store, it first downloads the installer and then installs it, so if a game occupies 25GB we will need 50Gb free to complete the entire operation, this is a problem when we have several disks and precisely the unit C: It doesn't have enough space.

Microsoft is going to solve this problem shortly when the Anniversary Update is released, which will add the possibility of choosing where we want to install the games, something that seems so basic but was not at hand within the Windows 10 store.

Option will be added with Anniversary Update

With the arrival of important games from Microsoft Studios this year and in 2017 with Scalebound and Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10, it is imperative that they improve the store to be a real alternative to Steam and that the platform be successful.
