A mysterious Radeon RX Vega Nano graphics card from the manufacturer PowerColor appeared by surprise at AMD's Ryzen 2000 series launch event in Munich, Germany.

PowerColor is making an RX VEGA Nano

As with the Radeon RX 400 and 500 series, it appears that PowerColor is preparing a Nano variant for the RX VEGA series. This is something that will attract the attention of many PC users who want the full power of VEGA in a small form factor, surely for ultra-compact computers.

Although based on AMD's reference design, this PowerColor model differs somewhat from the RX Vega Nano prototype that was unveiled at SIGGRAPH 2017 by Chris Hook. In terms of design, the PowerColor prototype lacks the illuminated Radeon cube in the corner, and the axial fan sits further to the left.

The heatsink is physically longer and extends slightly beyond the graphics card PCB, as you can see from the images. The manufacturer also added a 6-pin power connector to ensure more current to the graphics card, so we don't expect this model to consume too much less than its older siblings. At the time of publication of this article, PowerColor has not confirmed whether its Radeon RX Vega Nano will be available to the public. We also cannot know what model it is exactly, if it is an RX VEGA 64 or 56.
