Swiftech today announced the launch of its new Apogee SKF 'top of the range' water block. The well-known company in this type of solutions is presenting its 'flagship' in the field of liquid cooling with its Apogee SKF water block , which follows in the footsteps of the award-winning high-performance Apogee XL2 with customization options.

Apogee SKF promises to be a generation ahead of the competition

This new technology is at least a generation ahead of the competition and will form the basis of the next generation of Swiftech CPU water blocks.

The Apogee SKF features a brand new cooling motor made of slotted fins just 125 microns thick. The center piece is also customizable / replaceable. Apogee SKF is compatible with all current and future CPUs: from Intel's LGA 115x, 2011, 2011-v3 and 2066, through the 'old' AM2 / 3 and recent AM4 and SP.

Two versions of the Apogee will be available

The Apogee SKF is made of lightweight but robust black acetal plastic with a silver center cap and chrome Swiftech logo. On the other hand, Swiftech has also designed a 'Prestige' model that is made of black chrome-plated brass with a bronze finish and a silver central cover. The Swiftech logo is also chrome.

The TR4 and TR4 versions of the Prestige model in the coming days.

$ 69.95 is what the 'normal' Apogee SKF water block costs. The Prestige model costs $ 89.95.
