First, we look at the presentation of the product and it is already clear to us that they are helmets aimed at the most sports fans, an image of an athlete on the front of the box is responsible for reminding us of the main target audience for these headphones in-ear. As we can see they arrive in a hard cardboard box with dimensions quite large for the type of product it is, something that already makes us think that we are going to find a fairly complete bundle.

We open the box and the first thing we see is a small case that acts as a charging station and inside which are the headphones, its design is quite elegant in black and with a transparent plastic cover with a rather hard closure. We open it and appreciate the two headphones with a wireless charging system thanks to which we will only have to leave them in the base for the recharge to begin.

We continue investigating and we see a small cardboard box inside which we find various accessories. First of all, we see a cloth bag that will serve to store the headphones, perfect if we decide to stop using them in the middle of a sports session and that will allow us to have them perfectly protected. We continue with the accessories with the presence of a pair of replacement pads, a small user manual in several languages including Spanish, a rubber cord that will serve to connect both headphones if we want and finally a USB cable that we will use to connect the charging station to the electrical network. This cable features a longer than normal micro USB connector as the charging station port is much deeper than usual. What does this mean? That we can only use the attached cable since any other one is too short. Something we miss is a wall adapter, although any one will do.

Once we have seen the bundle, we focus our eyes on the Syllable D900S headphones themselves, which have a very nice design, this time they sent us the black ones and they seemed very elegant. We highlight the presence of a large physical button with lighting that will serve to turn on the headphones as well as to do the whole process of synchronization with our mobile phone, something that I already warn you that is more complex than you may think and we will detail below. We also note that the pads are quite large, although they have a very flexible design so they will adapt very well to the ears of the vast majority of users. It is important to note that the additional pads included in the bundle are the same size.

The time has come to synchronize the Syllable D900S with our Smartphone, for which we will follow the following steps:

First, we turn on the bluetooth of our Smartphone and turn on the right earpiece (R) for which we only have to press and hold the big button for several seconds until we see the blue and red light alternate. Now we look for the earpiece from our Smartphone and establish the bluetooth connection between them.At this point we will already have the right earbud paired, we just have to put a song or a video on our mobile to check it.If the right earbud already gives us sound, it is time to sync the left earbud for stereo sound, the left earbud only sync with the right earbud and not with the Smartphone. Due to the latter, right now you will only have sound in the right earpiece even if you had both turned on in the previous steps.With the two earphones turned off, we take one in each hand and look at the large button, we will see that on one of its sides there are two dots that are as if united among them. Press both areas of the button at the same time with the two dots together and hold them down until you see a light that alternates between blue and yellow on both headphones. You should already have sound in both headphones.

The Syllable D900S offer us a quite remarkable sound quality thanks to their good quality 8mm speakers, something that you realize from the first moment. These headphones stand out above all in the high and mid tones while the bass is left a little step behind, something that we could already expect given the size of its speakers. The bass is not bad at all, but it can be seen that it is not the strong point of these helmets. Its use is very comfortable thanks to its reduced weight of only 8 grams and very comfortable ear cushions, after several hours with them you hardly notice any fatigue and I am not very used to using headphones.

Regarding the autonomy, the manufacturer promises us four hours and in real use we will get very close to this figure, depending on the volume it can be a little more or a little less. Its recharge is quite fast and it will only take us two hours to maximize the battery of our Syllable D900S which has a capacity of 65 mAh.

The volume is quite high, although as in all headphones of this type, if we turn it up too much, we see a certain distortion. The sound quality is very good, being superior to other more expensive headphones that I have tried before, especially in the treble and mids.
