Telegram has had a couple of months somewhat complicated by its controversies with Russia. After a feint of prohibition by the Russian government and the subsequent news about the arrival of company servers in the country, many questioned Telegram's privacy and security.

But, in recent days, a multitude of news has emerged saying that Telegram was going to install servers in some countries like Iran. Country whose relations with the United States are strained.

There will be no servers in Iran

The rumors intensified as the days passed. In fact, Iran's communications minister stated that the company was going to carry out the installation of these servers. So the news has become even bigger. So much so that the CEO of Telegram has finally come out to deny them. And pulling a bit of irony, he comments that the company is not going to install servers in Iran or North Korea. Nor in Mordor, unfortunately.

And it has also clarified what may be the source of the problem. Telegram rents CDNs to other companies so that they can have better infrastructure in countries where they do not want to install their own servers. So it seems that those CDNs are the source of the problem. So Telegram will not install any servers in the country.
