Thermalright appears to be working on a new CPU cooler called the Frost Spirit 140. The unprecedented offering appears to follow the same classic design of many dual-tower heatsinks today.

Thermalright Frost Spirit 140 is a new RGB dual tower heatsink

The fin stack on the unit is symmetrical and comes with free memory space. At the front of the unit, a 120mm fan pushes air into the unit, and the two fin towers incorporate a 140mm row to move air through the heatsink. Heat is pushed into the fin stacks through four 8mm thick heatpipes, which certainly helps make the unit look robust, and it certainly is, because it weighs 1 kilogram.

The base of the unit is made of copper for better thermal transfer, but nickel plated to prevent corrosion. Naturally, it also has a mirror finish. As we can see in one of the images, the presence of RGB lighting is crucial, although we do not know if it will be addressable, we believe that it is.

From the looks of it, the unit is compatible with modern Intel LGA115X and AMD AM4 CPU sockets, probably also

For now, that's all we know. We will probably learn more in due course when Thermalright makes a formal announcement. Knowing Thermalright, the Frost Spirit 140 should be very competitively priced, in a segment where there are many options even from the company itself. We will keep you informed.
