We have previously discussed Thermalright brand heatsinks and know the quality of the materials it uses to keep most of today's processors cool. Today we have to talk about one of the largest heatsinks (talking about dimensions) that can be purchased today, the new Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT.

The new giant of Thermalright Grand Macho RT

The Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT is a large aluminum block with measurements of 120 x 150 x 159 mm that make it a giant within our tower but that ensures a maximum air flow of 73.6 CFM, making it an ideal heatsink for those who want to make the most of the processor they are using, especially in the summer.

The heatsink is made entirely of aluminum with 35 fins 0.4 mm thick and located at 3.1 mm intervals, measures perfectly studied so that the heat is expelled by the air from the 140 mm cooler, which can work at speed between 300 and 1300 RPM. Seven heat pipes or commonly known as 6mm thick "heat pipes" are inserted through the aluminum layers, with the contact base for the processor made of copper and nickel plated. The total weight of this heatsink including the cooler is more than 1 kilogram (1060 g).

Because of how the Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT is created, we will not have to worry about the dimensions and if it touches the memories since the entire aluminum heatsink extends in one direction instead of both sides.
