The Thermalright HR-02 Male heatsink was launched in the summer of 2011 and since then has been a benchmark among low-noise heatsinks thanks to its semi-passive design. Thermalright is now announcing an update to its heatsink to increase its efficiency.

The new Thermalright HR-02 Male Rev.B heatsink is an upgrade to Thermalright's acclaimed heatsink to which has been added a very quiet PWM TY 147 A fan with a maximum spin speed of 1300 RPM which can be reduced to 300 RPM for obtain maximum silence in its operation. At its maximum speed, it generates a noise of just 21 dBA and an air flow of 125 m³ / h, which is reduced to 28.7 m³ / h at its minimum rotation speed.

The set is completed with a tower-shaped aluminum fin radiator that is crossed by six heatpipes made of copper and 6mm thick that are responsible for absorbing the heat generated by the CPU and distributing it through the radiator. It has dimensions of 136 x 152 x 165 mm and a weight of 870 grams

It is priced at 42.99 euros and is compatible with all current AMD and Intel sockets.
