Thermaltake has brought many new features to Computex this year, and not just when it comes to hardware and cooling, but also at the application level. In fact, your DPS G application has undergone a rather interesting update when it comes to smart power supply management.

More functionality, better integration and easier interface

We will quickly explain what the brand's Smart Power Management system is to locate us. SPM is a cloud-based software that is capable of integrating the three different platforms Thermaltake has in terms of PC and energy management, DPS G PC APP, DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud and DPS G Mobile APP. This allows to share statistics between the different applications and to have an identical information box in all of them to carry out common management.

That said, Thermaltake has unveiled a number of improvements to both its PC application and the one that runs on mobile devices. Basically we are facing two applications much easier to manage and with a cleaner interface, but it is also now we can control the power supply from this application. Of course, a source that is compatible, such as the new Thermaltake Toughpower PF1, and create energy profiles with artificial intelligence management by the software.

And it is not all, because it is also possible to manage the RPM of the fans in a simple way, through silent modes, performance and Smart Fan Zero, a functionality seen in the source post that makes the fan only work when the PSU Exceeds 40% workload.

Another novelty that it brings is the monitoring capacity of Multi-GPU, delivering the fan speed , temperatures, clock frequency and power that it is consuming. In addition, a notification and alert system has been implemented in the mobile application to notify us when any component reaches 60 degrees or more.

In summary, it is good to know that large manufacturers are concerned with also updating their management programs to adapt them to the times and improve their intelligence and cross-platform. Personally, it seems to me something very successful, although they should extend this work to their TT RGB Plus application, rather outdated I must say.
