Table of contents:
Now it is Thermaltake's turn to launch his new boxes in “Big Tower” format. They are the Thermaltake Core W100 and Thermaltake Core WP100, both ideal for liquid cooling and excellent mobility thanks to their 4 wheels.
Thermaltake Core W100
Both boxes come in a design that is capable of housing XL-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, mATX, and iTX motherboards and 10 expansion slots. The Thermaltake Core W100 is 878 x 310 x 678mm (WxHxD) in size and weighs 31.3kg, accommodating multiple graphics cards up to 67cm in length and ATX power supplies.
All the cabling is managed by its efficient “ cable management ” and it brings us an excellent distribution of liquid refrigeration. Since it allows us to install triple and quadruple radiators 60 mm thick. We have three holes for three 140mm fans in the front, 4/3 fans for 140mm and 200mm at the top, three in the lower 140mm area and a 140mm fan. As we can see the possibilities are maximum. Price? It will be about 350 to 370 euros.
Thermaltake Core WP100
We continue with the Thermaltake Core WP100 which is somewhat lower but wider, exactly has dimensions of 677 x 310 x 678 and 22.4 kg of weight. It has three external 5.25 ″ and 10 internal bays for 3.5 ″ and 2.5 ″ hard drives and SSDs.
With rear connections we have 4 USB 3.0 connections and one audio. For cooling we have the possibility of installing 3 120/140 mm fans on the front, on the ceiling 4 of 120/40 mm or three of 200 mm, on the floor 3 fans of 120 mm and on the back one of 120 / 140 mm.
It allows to install graphics cards of more than 47 cm (without cabin up to 63.5 cm) and power supplies of 20 cm. The price is somewhat higher than the previous model, since it amounts to almost 450/470 euros. I ask you a question… Is this design not familiar to you?
